FIVE ASSEGAIS COUNTRY ESTATE offers a single very private and exclusive luxury country
house, with 4 double bed rooms en-suit for thediscerning lover of country life. (This
home in the country caters for only one party at a time and is not suitable for couples
over weekends and holidays as we charge a minimum rate of R2500 per night Friday
– Sunday. (We will accommodate couples during the week at our normal per person
rate) Originally built in the 1850 by Paul Kruger on the then main route to the goldfields
of Barberton, as a place of rest for the wagon trails before they attempted the Hells
Kloof Pass‚ this charming home has been enlarged and artistically renovated to again
offer a luxury retreat in total isolation on this spectacular estate. Fully equipped
and serviced with wonderful walks, trout fishing on dams close to the house, we allow
pets (as long as the owners are well behaved); quad bikes, scramblers, 4x4’s and
mountain bikes are also welcome.The house boasts an open plan kitchen, sitting and
dinning room with cozy fireplace, TV, video and DSTV

RCI Gold Crown Resort, halfway between Machadodorp and Carolina, +/- 2.5 hours drive
both from Johannesburg and Pretoria.The Thatch Stone House is situated on a hill
overlooking the rivers and vallleys. 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. 2 beds have double
beds and 2 beds have 2 single beds each. Beautiful views from all the bedrooms.
Huge openplan Lounge/diningroom area. Built-in fire place. Huge covered stoep
from where you can view zebras, blou wildebeast, giraffes, horses, etc. passing by.
Outside Lapa Area where you can watch the sun go under in the evenings around the
campfire. Undercover parking. Sleeps in total 8 people. The house is serviced twice
daily.
Doornkop Private Fish and Wildlife Reserve offers you: security, club house
with 2 pools (1 heated), huge games room, restuarant & bar, horse riding, fly fishing
(10 dams stock to full capacity),2 rivers that flow through the reserve, game viewing/driving
